With our extensive experience flying in Africa we guarantee an adventure of a lifetime for self-fly pilots and fly-along passengers on our expertly designed flying safari options within in southern Africa.

Explore the African continent in a unique way, from above. Flying saves you long days of travel by road and gives you a unique perspective of the exceptional landscapes of Southern Africa so you can make the most of your time on safari.

We provide all the required support and logistics with obtaining all the necessary aircraft, licenses, validations and permits to allow you to fly through Southern Africa. We plan every detail of the trip to ensure you experience only the best Africa has to offer from the air, and ensure that once we have landed we ensure you have an unforgettable land based experience. ​​

If you are a pilot and already have, an EASA, FAA, or ICAO pilot license, you can convert that license to a South African license giving you the prospect to fly in Africa.​

​We offer some standard suggested itineraries and routes which can be tailor made or your entire trip can be designed to suite your requirements. When it comes to viewing Africa from above, you are with the experts.

We have a range of light aircraft available for hire to suit your preference. However, our preferred aircraft that we recommend are the Sling 2, 4 and Tsi, Cessna 172, 182, 206, all perfect options for flying in Africa and landing on dirt airstrips.

We will provide:

  • Aircraft hire

  • Assistance and guidance in your pilot validation

  • Flight planning, submissions and permits

  • Avgas availability,

  • Emergency back-up, including satellite phones and PLBs

  • Weather reports

  • Daily flight and weather briefings

  • Photographic tips and guides

  • Lead aircraft and open communication channels

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

  • Maximum group size is 5 aircraft (excluding lead aircraft), to ensure personal service and attention to each clients needs,

  • Our recommended aircraft are the Sling aircraft. However, if required,  we can source other aircraft (Cessna, Piper etc),

  • All air-to-air communication in Southern Africa is in English,

  • To prepare for your adventure, we will send you the flight paths and runway information, so you can familiarize yourself with the flights and general conditions.
